Other SQL constructs

At an AstroGrid meeting yesterday we discussed the need for the query
language to support CREATE TABLE, DROP TABLE, SELECT INTO, UPDATE etc. I've
looked at the schema and I think the answer is 'no', but does the current
version of ADQL support these constructs?

If not, can someone point us at the tools/BNF used to construct the schema
so that AstroGrid can extend adql to include these constructs - we'll be
using them in the near future and I'd rather do so in the spirit of the way
that adql is currently built than hack about with the schema directly.
