ADQL-0.8.1 has been released

I doubt it will be possible to use the full 0.8.1 spec for the Jan demo.
AstroGrid will *add* support for this version to its data centre service but
it will not be complete (won't provide INTO or units support; may not
provide TOP support) before January and certainly won't be robustly tested.
It will be possible to query datasets via the AstroGrid data centre
components using 0.8.1 but support for 0.7.4 will be more reliable (same
component can support multiple versions of ADQL).

I'll probably recommend that the AVO/AstroGrid demo planned for Jan will be
based upon 0.7.4. Does anyone see any problem with this?

What are other projects planning? Will anyone offer a full 0.8.1 data access
service accessible from externally?
