Web-based version of VOPlot available

Hi All,

    VOPlot (version 1.0) has been integrated 
with VizieR catalogue service on different mirror sites. 

To plot a VOTable using VOPlot, search for the required catalogue 
on VizieR and select the output layout as "Plot (VOPlot)". 
After clicking on "Submit Query" button the plotting applet loads
if you have a Java plug-in installed. 

The plotting tool requires you have a Java 
plug-in (version 1.3.1 or later) installed on your machine. 

The latest version of java plug-in can be downloaded 
from http://java.sun.com/products/plugin/index.html. 

In the coming version the web-based VOPlot tool will be 
interoperable with Aladin(http://aladin.u-strasbg.fr/aladin.gml). 
This will enable a simultaneous visualization of some graph 
in VOPlot together with a representation as a sky plot in Aladin 
and vice versa.
