From m.b.taylor at bristol.ac.uk Wed Oct 19 02:42:37 2011 From: m.b.taylor at bristol.ac.uk (Mark Taylor) Date: Wed, 19 Oct 2011 10:42:37 +0100 (BST) Subject: VOTable and NULLs session at Pune Message-ID: Dear VOTable, the special session on NULL values in VOTable, as agreed by the TCG, will take place on Thursday at `16:00 in Pune - see the bottom of the page: http://www.ivoa.net/cgi-bin/twiki/bin/view/IVOA/InterOpOct2011Applications There are already a few contributors. I hope that my slides (previewed on that wiki page) more or less represent the views of me and other people on the topic as far as I know about them, but if anyone (including those not present in Pune) would like to make a contribution, let me know. There will of course be ample time for open discussion in the session. Hopefully we can reach a provisional decision on what (if anything) to do about the matter in this session, however, in view of the wide use of VOTable and possible impacts of changes, we're not going to make any final decision without allowing further consultation from those not present here.
